Studio forms part of investment firm’s sport arm Velocity Sports Partners
ALK Capital’s sport arm, Velocity Sports Partners, has launched production agency VSP Studios.
The company will work with clubs, athletes, creators, brand partners and distribution platforms to develop and produce original formats, premium behind-the-scenes series, athlete-driven storytelling and creator collaborations. Social media platform X and broadcaster Sky are named as distribution partners it will work with.
VSP Studios’ first projects are expected to roll out in 2026.
ALK Capital is the majority owner of Premier League side Burnley and LaLiga’s Espanyol. Burnley has expanded its content production over the past 12 months, including a VR matchday broadcast, creating the first UK-comissioned X original, and launching an Innovation Hub with the likes of AI dubbing business Camb.AI.
