Company becomes the sponsorship and partnership agency for the national horse sports federation

Mongoose has been named the official sponsorship and partnership agency for British Equestrian.
The national horse sports and activity federation has turned to the agency to conduct a strategic review of its existing sponsorship landscape and help commercialise the sports it covers. This will include creating narrative-led rights packages, the valuation of commercial assets, and helping the organisation to articulate its market value.
The partnership aims to support long-term financial stability of British Equestrian while enhancing the sport’s relevance to non-traditional audiences and commercial partners - as well as positioning the sport as one that embodies equality.
Laura Owen, COO and co-founder of Mongoose, said: “Equestrian is in a unique position as a sport that already embodies equality. Our role is to help British Equestrian articulate that truth clearly, build a compelling commercial narrative around it, and create partnerships that adds genuine value for brands, the sport and its audience.”
Jim Eyre, CEO of British Equestrian, added: “Our partnership with Mongoose marks an important step in strengthening our global commercial proposition. As a successful sport steeped in tradition which uniquely showcases the bond between humans and equines, we have a distinctive story to tell, and Mongoose will help us translate that into meaningful, long-term partnerships.”
The Broadcast Sport Podcast spoke to Mongoose head of creative Matt Hocken recently about the company’s work running the NFL UK TikTok channel during the 2026 Super Bowl. You can find that episode here, or listen to it below.
