A new recruitment agency, which started out as a Facebook initiative, has been set up to provide temporary runners to Soho facilities.

Soho Runners is the brainchild of three friends with experience of the rental side of the business. They identified a gap in the market for a specialist agency that could provide reliable runners.

“We aim to provide a convenient and affordable way for Soho's companies to gain access to high-quality, trustworthy runners,” explained co-founder Spencer Saffer.

“In return, we provide the runners with a competitive wage but also give them the chance to benefit from the vast experience available in Soho's top facilities.”

The agency recruits from universities, but has also grown from word-of-mouth. “As more facilities don't want to commit to full-time staff and people get laid off in Soho, we're finding considerable demand for temporary runners,” said Saffer.
