Sony Creative Software is to continue development of its Catalyst Browse and Catalyst Production Suite tools, despite selling the rest of its product range to Germany’s Magix Software.
Sony disposed of its full Vegas Pro, Movie Studio, Sound Forge Pro and Acid Pro products for an undisclosed fee in May. The Catalyst applications offer professional tools for logging, content preparation and editing, and support for HD, 4K and Sony RAW.
