An expansion into grading and Flame work along with a new look for sister post-production houses

Post house Bubble TV and sister company Silk Sound have expanded their combined facilities, adding a grading suite and Flame room to their editing and sound services. They have also refreshed their branding, with Bubble TV becoming simply Bubble and Silk Sound rebranding to Silk.

The expansion of Bubble and Silk brings with it two new recruits – senior flame artist Toby Aldridge, who has previously worked at MPC, The Mill, and Glassworks as a freelance VFX artist; and Marty McMullan, who joined as senior colourist from Rushes earlier this year.

Founded in 2004, Bubble acquired Silk in 2010 to form Bubble Television Group Ltd. The companies specialise in TV promos, titles, commercials and TV programmes.

CEO Chris Phinikas said: “Our new grading theatre and flame suite signals a greater move into picture post-production and builds on our investment in creative talent.”
