One day course focuses on developing effective client relationships and negotiating skills in high-end TV

Creative Skillset is supporting five one-day courses aimed at junior and line producers in post production and VFX.

The course, ‘Developing effective client relationships and negotiating skills’, will run in September in central locations in Bristol, London, Manchester and Glasgow, supported by Creative Skillset’s High-end TV Levy fund.

The course is specifically designed for junior and line producers in post and VFX companies servicing HETV business.

The course focusses on developing effective client relationships in the morning and on essential negotiating skills in the afternoon.

With the support of the High-end TV Levy Fund the cost is £75 ex-VAT per person.

Creative Skillset senior high-end television manager Michelle James, said: “The idea is for young talent to come away with the skills, resources and, above all, the confidence to take a more informed and proactive approach to developing effective client relationships and handling negotiations as they progress in their role. This is all part of supporting the development of a world class UK drama workforce.”

The course has been developed by Every Sense.

The courses run on the following dates: Bristol 7th September, Manchester 19th September, Glasgow 21st September, London 25th September and 27th September.
