Film and dailies specialist launches in Cardiff, targetting productions from Wales, Bristol and the West of England
Film and dailies specialist Digital Orchard Group has opened a new facility in Cardiff.
The facility’s services are aimed at Welsh productions as well as those based in Bristol and the West of England.
Digital Orchard Wales’s offer includes on-set DIT and video assist services, LTO archiving, streamable dailies as well as dailies colouring and workflow planning and advice.
Digital Orchard says it will grow its pool of local digital imaging technicians and video operators to provide on-set and in-lab support.
The team will also offer a series of training courses and events, aimed at both experienced film professionals and new talent, focused on digital and film workflows and kit.
Based in London, Digital Orchard also has a facility in Scotland.
The founder of Digital Orchard Group, Callum Just, said: “We’re looking forward to getting to know local film-makers and production houses in the coming months, as well as local universities and film schools.”
