Epic Games Broadcast and Live events field guide

Epic Games has released an 80-page field guide for companies looking to use Unreal Engine with broadcast and live events.

Creative Works London, Disguise, Illuminarium, Moment Factory, Myreze, The Carolina Panthers, The Weather Channel, XR Studios, and others have contributed to the Broadcast And Live Events Field Guide, providing production tips for real-time workflows for live sporting events, concerts, news, AR-enhanced broadcasts, and more. It can be downloaded here.

Sections include how industry producers are using real-time technology to wow their audiences, planning and setup techniques for real-time workflows, when real-time makes sense for a project, and how to build a team to make the switch.

In addition, Epic has also launched Broadcast and Live Events: Steal the Show, a week of content featuring production stories from the field, the breakdown of a cutting-edge virtual production broadcast studio build for Fox Sports, and Unreal Service Partners highlights.

New content will be released here every day until 14 October, including how Pixomondo, alter ego, William F. White International, and Virtual Production Academy filled a CG stadium with 18,000 dynamic fans driven by Unreal Engine for the Caledon Soccer Club.
