The deadline for entries is now this Friday (2 October)
Gender advocacy group Rise has extended the deadline for the Rise Awards. It’s the second year for the awards, which were previously dished out at a ceremony during IBC 2019 (pictured above).
The awards recognise the talent, expertise and achievements of exceptional women across the broadcast tech and services sector.
Nominations are open until this Friday (2 October 2020).
The winners will be announced in November.
The Awards categories are:
Business Award Open to any woman in the following roles - CEO, managing director, COO, owner.
Engineer Award Recognises a high achiever, problem solver and team player who represents the very best of the broadcasting profession.
Marketer/PR Award Open to any woman who has excelled in their role in a marketing or PR role in the industry.
Product Innovation Award Recognises revolution and invention for the broadcasting sector.
Rising Star Award Recognises those that can demonstrate exceptional and ongoing achievements.
Sales Award Open to any woman in a sales role in the broadcast industry working for either a manufacturer, service provider, broadcaster, media publisher or trade show.
Technical Operations Award For a technical operations team member who has gone above and beyond the requirements of their day-to-day role.
Woman of the Year Award Open to any inspiring and extraordinary woman across the sector, at any level, for making a significant difference in her field or to the industry.
