Long-standing post-production house Loco has moved out of Soho for the first time in its almost 20-year history.

The company, formerly known as Locomotion Soho, became part of advertising group Loveurope four years ago, and is relocating to East London, into a section of Loveurope’s offices on Goswell Road.

Full-service post house Loco predominantly works on VFX-focused short-form productions (Loco’s spot for Amigo Loans is pictured above), while its credit list also includes broadcast work. It is currently working on a current affairs documentary and an in-development reality series.

The facility’s new premises are geared up for 4K with what managing director Danny

Coster described as “state-of-the-art grading, editing and finishing suites, CG, animation and VFX facilities, as well as the addition of a voiceover recording studio”.

Coster added: “The closer proximity with Loveurope has streamlined the workflow and communication between producers, editors and colourists, enabling more time to develop great creative work. This move allows us to share an expanded offering of creative services with our clients, including design, digital, pre-vis and retouching, translation and trans-creation, as well as press and print production.”
