The technology has already been used for ITV2’s three part series of Home Alone With Joel Dommett.

Over Exposed has created a remote production system that enables clients to create high-end television programming and advertising that complies with all social distancing guidelines and enables teams to collaborate across the UK and around the world.

The system, designed by the outside broadcast and live streaming specialist, makes it possible for producers, directors and production staff to work remotely with access to multiple camera feeds for live and pre-recorded productions, with full talkback facilities and minimal crew on location.

The set-up is suitable for seasoned outside broadcast crews as well as teams and brands that are completely new to remote filming. A friendly team is on hand at all times to ensure a smooth running shoot.

Over Exposed is able to provide a full production crew from producers to camera operators if required or can facilitate for in-house teams.

Sources from traditional PSC cameras such as the Sony FX9, FS7, F55 and Alexa as well as remote contributor feeds via Facetime, Zoom and Skype can all be brought into our remote system.

The output of the system can be delivered as rushes in ProRes422, DNXHD or a simple MP4 or .MOV for post-production. If live broadcasting, the system is set up to be broadcast ready with a full suite of graphics and VT capabilities.

The pioneering technology has already been used for a number of major productions including ITV2’s three part series of Home Alone With Joel Dommett. The show was shot on remotely controlled Sony FX9s all linked up into a remote production gallery.

The series included reality pieces, pranks, a masked singer and a lipsync battle and was fully remotely produced.

Russell Martin, founder, Over Exposed said: “We’ve designed, built and implemented a full remote production system and workflow that replicates a standard OB truck and television gallery. This is a practical solution to enable safe working during Covid and into the future when crew members want to work remotely’.
