The six-part psychological thriller was lmed in Newport, Wales, and tells the tale of Matilda, whose life is turned upside down by her mother’s suicide.

Picture post was carried out by The Look in Cardiff, alongside Bang, which handled the audio. The Look chief executive and senior colourist Thomas Urbye says: “Requiem was my rst experience working with the Panasonic Varicam. Highlights were kept creamy warm, and saturated reds and greens were removed.”

Requiem’s director, Mahalia Belo, wanted to ensure the jacket worn by actress Lydia Wilson kept its pale blue colour, despite the warm tint added in the grade. Urbye says this was achieved with a soft blue key. “True black was lifted to keep a softness to the image.”
