CP Cases, a designer and manufacturer of protective cases, has launched Airship, a lightweight case designed for transporting camera and broadcast equipment it claims is 50% lighter than “the current market leader.”
In a move away from traditional heavy hard shell ruggedised flight cases, the Airship is created from bonded layers of honeycomb polypropylene and rigid closed cell foam to provide what CP Cases call “a featherweight block that is machined to exactly match the equipment it is protecting.”
The Airship case can be made as a backpack or shoulder bag, or as a pull along wheeled container. CP Cases says it is weather-proof and dust-proof, protecting equipment against gale force winds and extreme rain.
