The Hospital Club has kicked off a round of improvements to its studio facilities with £250,000 of investment in a new vision mixer and switchers.

The Sony MVS-7000 vision mixer, Miranda switchers and HD monitoring equipment was supplied by DB Broadcast, with finance from Fineline Media Finance.

Hospital Club head of studios Sam Dunlop said: “This is the first phase in a multi-stage plan to update of all the major systems in the Hospital Club studio.

“Fineline was recommended to us by DB Broadcast as a reliable company that understood the broadcast sector and could offer reasonable finance deals, and we are very happy with the way the transaction was facilitated.”

The Hospital Club’s studios have been used for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize Sessions, Watchdog, The Agenda and a host of MTV shows.

Fineline Media Finance sales and marketing director Gareth Wilding added: “It’s a pleasure to work with the Hospital Club as they renew and refurbish their facility, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship in the coming months and years.”
