Complete picture and audio post on the BBC’s three-part adaptation of James Herbert’s novel.

How it was done

Sound Effects editor Richard Fordham created a neutral, almost lifeless, background atmosphere creating space for subtle and disconcerting sound effects. VFX challenges included making sure ‘dead’ people did not appear to breathe, while rain was added to storm scenes.
