Vinten Radamec is launching its Fusion FHR-35 pan and tilt head at this year’s IBC trade show.

It is the first robotic unit to incorporate the firm’s Intelligent Control Engineering (ICE), a platform which offers “unprecedented control and accuracy in an innovative and highly compact form factor”.

Designed for payloads up to 16kg, the Fusion FHR-35 uses Ethernet to connect to the HDVRC studio robotics controller or legislative system controller. It has a pan and tilt accuracy of better than 0.01˚, the company said.

Robotics commercial manager for Vinten Radamec Karen Walker said: “The new Fusion FHR-35 can be remote configured for very fast set-up, and because it has its own control intelligence built in it responds incredibly quickly.

“This is a completely new concept in camera robotics and it has been incorporated into a surprisingly compact head.”
