Global radio presenters star in short series presented by Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle

Sky Sports and Global have partnered on a campaign around the former’s F1 coverage.
The pair produced a short series in the build-up to the opening race weekend in Australia, which saw Global hosts from across its radio brands take part in a go karting challenge presented by Sky Sports F1 expert Martin Brundle OBE supported with voiceover from Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft.
Filmed at Silverstone, Heart’s Mark Wright and Pandora Christie, Capital’s Siân Welby and Kem Cetinay, and Radio X’s Chris Moyles and Polly James tackled a lap on a specially built circuit with the aim of setting the fastest lap and securing top spot on the Sky Sports x Global leaderboard.
The series was available on Global Player in the build up to the race, before then being shared on the various brands’ TikTok and Instagram channels. There were also on-air features and live reads on Heart, Capital and Radio X, featuring standout moments from the track day and Brundle’s reactions.
Sky Sports and Global will continue to work together throughout the F1 season, producing content ahead of key races.
