Sky Witness’ Instinct drew 175,000
This week, Gold launched its new series of discussing and then re-performing famous sketches, with limited success. Meanwhile, it seems increasing numbers of people are curious to know the truth aboutbSky Witness’ protagonist – that his parents couldn’t spell Herbert.
Gold launched My Favourite Sketch on Friday at 10pm, with Sally Phillips reimagining favourite scenes with Paul Whitehouse to 58,000/0.4% – behind the slot average share (0.6%). Sunday’s 8pm repeat added another 43,000. On Saturday at 10pm, episode two with Jessica Hynes mustered 49,000/ 0.3%, half the slot average (0.6%).
On Tuesday at 9pm, Sky Witness’ The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair achieved its best overnight for a single transmission so far (156,000/ 0.9%) – ahead of the slot average share (0.6%). The channel’s best this week was Thursday’s Instinct (175,000/1%) at 9pm.
The third and fourth episodes of Sky 1 comedy Sick Of It drew 134,000/1% at 10pm on Thursday and 98,000/1% at 10.30pm. The fourth episode of Sky 1’s A Discovery Of Witches on Friday at 9pm summoned up 230,000/1%, the smallest Friday 9pm rating so far.
Half way through its seventh series, Dave’s Taskmaster gathered 370,000/2% on Wednesday at 9pm, this run’s second best in its premiere transmission slot so far. Sunday’s 10pm repeat added another 191,000.
Third best in the UKTV stable this week was Really’s sixth episode of the second series of Inside The Ambulance on Thursday at 9pm (332,000/2%).
