Fitness firm selects Forbidden Technologies platform to edit its on-demand virtual classes

Peloton selects Blackbird for editing virtual classes

Fitness technology firm Peloton has chosen Forbidden Technologies’ Blackbird platform to edit its on-demand virtual classes.

Based in the US, Peloton sells exercise bikes with virtual fitness classes available to its one million rider community - both live and on demand.

Equipped with a 22-inch HD screen, each Peloton bike allows riders to experience 14 daily live and 8000 plus on-demand classes which are available in lengths of 5 to 120 minutes.

Peloton will use Blackbird to edit all the daily rides given by its cycling instructors from its two studios in New York and one in London.

Peleton was founded in 2012, and is backed by investors including NBC Universal.
