Broadcast has launched the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2021 – the third year of the awards, which celebrate the role technology plays in creating and broadcasting the most outstanding productions of the past year.

The awards focus on the teamwork behind the productions, highlighting the outstanding creative and technical aspects of the projects.

The Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2021 is made up of 24 categories, including a number of new categories and tweaks to existing categories for 2021.

The new categories include Standout Tech of the Year; Technical Innovation – Entertainment; and Streaming Platform of the Year.

It’s the third year for the awards, following the inaugural awards (hosted by comedian Phil Wang) in October 2019 at 8 Northumberland Avenue, and last year’s virtual event, hosted by comedian Rachel Parris.

The headline sponsor of the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2021 is Sky Production Services.

The 2021 award winners will be revealed at a live event once again, to be held at The Brewery, London on 30 November.

The awards will take place in the evening, following Broadcast’s one-day Tech Fest event, which supports the awards with a series of comprehensive panels and sessions, taking place at the same venue.

The awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts – we will list the names of the judges over the coming weeks.

The awards are open for entries now. To find out more about the awards, and to enter the Broadcast Tech Innovation Awards 2021, head over to http://broadcasttechawards.co.uk/
