Former Exterion and Telefonica exec to replace global dubbing and subtitling firm’s founder Björn Lifvergren

Dubbing and subtitling firm BTI Studios has appointed Shaun Gregory as chief executive officer.

Gregory takes over from BTI founder Björn Lifvergren on 1st October.

Lifvergren will move to a senior advisor position on the Board of Directors. Lifvegren founded BTI 23 years ago.

Gregory has over 20 years’ experience in media, most recently as CEO of advertising company Exterion Media. Previously he was global MD of advertising for Telefonica and held a number of positions at EMAP, including UK MD for National Brands.

BTI operates 21 facilities globally. Its clients include BBC Worldwide, Discovery Networks, Turner, NBC Universal, Warner, Disney, Fox, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu.

Lifvergren said: “With new, well-backed owners and a solid growth plan for BTI in place, this is the perfect time for me to pass the baton to Shaun.”
