Goldcrest has taken on Vanessa Taylor as senior colourist in its London-based picture post team.

Working out of Goldcrest’s Lexington Street facility, Taylor will be available to grade feature film and HETV projects in both London and New York from January 2023.

A creative industry veteran, Taylor started her career in online editing/VFX for commercials before moving into colour correction in 2007. Her multi-disciplinary background has spanned features, television drama and documentaries, with recent work including Millennium’s The Protégé for Martin Campbell, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard for the same studio, Studio Canal’s Gunpowder Milkshake, Netflix’s psychological thriller The Wonder, New Regency’s The Northman for director Robert Eggers and cinematographer Jarin Blaschke, and acclaimed TV mini-series Anne for ITV Studios, about the Hillsborough Stadium tragedy.

Goldcrest managing director Patrick Malone said: “I am both delighted and thrilled to be announcing Vanessa’s appointment. Goldcrest always prides itself on the strength and depth of our creative talent pool, her arrival further bolsters our position as the primary choice for content creators.”
