Jigsaw24 has promoted Chris Bailey to the newly-created position of head of innovation.

Bailey joined Root 6 as a production runner in 2000 and has worked his way up over the last 22 years. He was responsible for a large team of engineers as the customer support manager when Root 6 was acquired by Jigsaw24 in 2017 and was appointed to lead the presales team as technical presales specialist M&E in 2018.

During his time at both Root 6 and Jigsaw24, he has developed a reputation as a strong leader and technical expert, with a passion for post-production solution design.

In his new role, Bailey is responsible for researching, testing and proposing new products and solutions to enhance the Jigsaw24 Media portfolio.

This includes partnering with the account team and customers to research and explore new forward-looking solutions and managed services for Jigsaw24 Media clients as well as owning the business unit’s public cloud strategy for both on-prem and hosted solutions.

He will continue to act as the lead on strategic presales opportunities in addition to his new responsibilities. In his new role, Bailey reports to Jigsaw24 Media’s head of technical infrastructure, Graham McGuinness.

Jigsaw24 Media business director, Jason Cowan said: “Our role as a systems integrator relies increasingly on our ability to design innovative solutions for an ever-changing media landscape. While Jigsaw24 Media is fortunate to have renowned industry specialists on our team, this new position will further enhance our capabilities in this area.  Chris brings years of technical experience to the role and is trusted and respected by both our clients and fellow staff members – he was a natural choice for the job.”
