London-based OTT TV service provider Simplestream has launched a Sport Video Platform.

An end-to-end, cloud-based, white label solution, the Sports Video Platform allows broadcasters, rights holders and distributors to run OTT services on multiple screens and across territories.

Simplestream said that key features include low latency streaming, live event management, automated generation of video highlights and data integrations for real-time match, league and player stats.

Sports Video Platform comes with AVOD/SVOD and PPV models, allowing leagues, channels or federations to generate revenue.

Users can also learn insights about their viewers through real-time return path data.

Simplestream chief commercial officer Dan Finch said: “We’ve launched the Sports Video Platform to provide broadcasters and sports leagues, whatever their size, with the simplest route to providing next generation video experiences at a global scale.”
