Yorkshire Television's engineering and technical services departments have ordered a new multi-format technical facility for video standards conversion. The new facility will produce programme tapes for consumer retail and also for re-sale on a global basis to other broadcasters. Outputs will be available in a range of formats including: IMX, D2, D5, Digital Betacam and Beta SP. Systems designer and integrator TSL will supply a Quartz 64 x 64 SDI router, a Quartz 32 x 32 video/audio analogue router and all the digital interfacing equipment
