Jeremy Deaner brings over 25 years’ experience with UK-based software companies

BlissTek has appointed Jeremy Deaner as its new CEO.

Deaner was most recently CEO of file-based broadcast workflow company AmberFin before it was acquired by Dalet, and has over 25 years’ experience with UK-based software companies.

BlissTek, a division of Bliss IP, has three branded divisions in media tech: grading system Digital Vision World, and restoration companies R3store Studios and R3el.

Deaner will be working with Bliss IP chairman Daniel Broch and partner Robert Agsteribbe. The company is most well known for growing the Everyman Cinema chain.

Broch said the appointment points to a new way of doing things in the media tech sector, stating that it will, “enable everyone, everywhere to create incredible moving images. At BlissTek, we have been studying our customers’ work and workflows and our teams are building some really cool innovations which we will launch over the next 24 months.”

He continued: “In Digital Vision World, R3store Studios, R3el, we own world leading IP, which is the foundation for growth. Appointing Jeremy illustrates our intent and demonstrates how serious we are about this opportunity. Jeremy’s brief is, primarily, to build on our fantastic product and services legacy to deliver more for our customers.”
