Discover.film will launch a kids channel this spring after signing an acquisition partnership with Hoho Rights. 

Content on discover.film KiDs will be focused on inclusiveness, diversity and soft learning, with the decision to launch coming after the pandemic has seen accelerated growth in viewership of children’s content.

The deal with UK based kids’ entertainment company Hoho rights will provide hundreds of pieces of entertainment aimed at children from preschool to preteens for the channel.

Series such as Everyone Loves A Moose, Hana’s Helpline, and an introduction to language aimed at pre-schoolers in an engaging mixed media series that takes young viewers on an enchanted journey through a magical world in search of new words feature among the content acquired.

Head of content and acquisition for discover.film, Jaine Green, said: “We are sure our younger viewers will fall in love with all of these wonderful new characters and we look forward to adding many more over the coming months.
