Sony appoints Giles Wood as head of services

Sony has appointed Giles Wood as its new head of services for Sony Professional Solutions Europe. 

Sony’s services business has grown to over one third of its revenues in Europe, and is looking to continue this with the appointment of Wood.  

Wood has over 20 years’ experience in the sector, working for companies such as BT, Fujitsu and Nortel. He has also overseen start-up technology delivery businesses.  

In his new role, he will be creating and delivering a portfolio of professional services from systems integration and through to consultancy and full managed services. This will involve customers in the Media, Corporate, Education, Healthcare and Sport sectors.
