Poole arrives after three years at Timeline and work with Sunset+Vine at the Commonwealth Games

OB company Televideo has appointed James Poole as its chief operating officer. 

Poole arrives after working at the Commonwealth Games with Sunset+Vine, where he was the venue technical manager for cricket. Before that he spent three years at Timeline Television, where he worked first an OB unit manager and then senior commercial manager, responsible for sales and new business development.

While at Timeline, he won contracts for The BBC Proms, National Theatre Live, Glyndebourne Opera, The Rugby League World Cup host broadcast, BBC Women’s Six Nations and Summer & Winter on the Farm as well as a range of other projects. Poole has also worked for EVO Broadcast as an OB engineering manager.

Televideo works with Sky Sports, the BBC, BT Sport, Channel 4, Eurosport, Channel 5 and Viaplay, as well as a host broadcaster for major events.
