Christopher Gray, Peter Jopling and Jenny Basen join studio

Untold Studios has expanded its film episodic VFX team with the hires of Christopher Gray, Peter Jopling, and Jenny Basen. 

Gray becomes the studio’s executive director, and he will oversee all film and episodic work. He was most recently senior vice president at MPC, and also spent six years at Framestore, rising from producer to executive producer between 2014 and 2020. 

Jopling becomes executive VFX supervisor and creative partner to Gray. He was most recently in the same role at MPC for just under three years, after spending over 12 years at DNEG in various senior positions. Jopling has also worked at Framestore, The Mill, and Weta in over 30 years in the industry.

Finally, Basen arrives as an executive producer, having previously been a VFX producer at Framestore. Before this she worked at DNEG for five years, and she has worked with studios including Disney, Marvel, Sony, Universal, 20th Century and Warner Bros.
